Building Stronger Communities Through Communication, Preparedness and Service
"Connected by Communications. United Through Service."
Who We Are
The Community Care Communications Network (CCCN) is a private, membership-based GMRS communications organization dedicated to one simple idea: People helping people through reliable communications.
Our Repeater Network
Through a professionally managed network of regional GMRS repeaters, members are able to communicate across much of the region while supporting one another through fellowship, preparedness, traveler assistance, technical education, and community service.

Our Story
At a time when society has become increasingly dependent upon cellular networks and the internet, a group of local volunteers has quietly been building something different.
Founded by Stu Visnov and Jeff Landis, CCCN was created to provide dependable regional communications for families, travelers, first responders, volunteers, community organizations, and individuals who understand the value of staying connected when traditional communication methods become unavailable or unreliable.
Unlike many radio organizations that focus primarily on the technical aspects of amateur communications, CCCN places its emphasis on people. The organization's guiding philosophy is simple: Connected by Communications. United Through Service.
More Than Radios
Modern communications have become something most people simply assume will always be available. Recent storms, power outages, and large public events have demonstrated that assumption is not always correct. CCCN believes communities become stronger when neighbors know one another before emergencies occur. Members regularly practice radio communications, learn proper operating procedures, assist new operators, and develop relationships that often become lifelong friendships.
Strategic Partnerships
CCCN maintains a working relationship with the South Eastern Pennsylvania Independent REACT organization, whose members assist with repeater monitoring, communications support, membership administration, and operational assistance. The organization believes collaboration between community organizations creates stronger, safer communities.
Looking Ahead
The long-term vision of the Community Care Communications Network extends well beyond operating repeaters. The founders envision a regional communications community that encourages preparedness, strengthens neighborhoods, promotes responsible radio operation, supports travelers, assists during community events, and demonstrates that ordinary citizens working together can make an extraordinary difference.
It is about people. It is about service. It is about building communities where neighbors know they are never truly alone.
